Employment Litigation: Lessons From Campaign ’08
I ran across an interesting article from Texas Lawyer (via Law.com) written by Ford & Harrison Partner Michael P. Maslanka. The article details 6 (or 7) lessons employment litigators can take away from the Obama/McCain election. Particularly good:
- “Trust the good data” (No. 2),
- “Use your own story, don’t hijack the other side’s.” (No. 3), and
- “Pick a narrative and stick with it.” (No. 5).
The explanations are even better. Worth a read.
Also, if you enjoy the article, you should check out Maslanka’s blog, Work Matters. We’ve added it to the links in the sidebar.
